YOUMACONThanks ssooooooooo much to everyone that came by my table at Youmacon, and more thanks to everyone that bought things! I don't know why I haven't been coming to this con before now! I surpassed the sales goal I set for myself by quite a bit, which was awesome! (: I'll definitely be back next year.
I also had tons of fun shaking my booty for a few hours at the rave, and then followed by going to Mario-Party After Dark which was hilarious! LOL. Glad to see an awesome night event 'cause I usually don't get to go to any con events except for the rave because I'm selling hats all day, then go chill, eat, and hang out with my friends a bit, then I either sleep or rave depending on the day. And I usually check out the Dealers Room & Artist Alley on Sundays if I have time. And that's my usual con experience. Its kinda sad, lol. But I still enjoy cons none the less. (:

OHAYOCONSo I am now getting ready for Ohayocon at the end of January. I will be in the dealers room there. I'm trying to have alot more hats and stuff then I've had for my artist alley tables in the past. I'm really excited to have more space to display my creations. I'll be building my booth set up soon, making a large awesome sign and all of that fun stuff. Its going to double as my art fair booth (I'm a painter too! Fun fact if you didn't know! lol), which I will be starting to do those next year as well.
Anyways, I can't wait to see everyone in Ohio in a few months!

Lots of new updates on the way!So I just moved out of my parents house (FINALLY!) and into an apartment with my boyfriend and his friend. Which also means I have internet where I live again! (haven't at it at my parents place for 2yrs) And that means I can actually update regularly and get my hats up on a few other sites (like ShopHandmade & Artfire). And post a few hats every couple of days. Reply to comments in a more timely fashion and all of that. So yay for that! (:

I actually have a basic hat tutorial that about half done on my computer, I'm hoping to finish it up in a couple weeks after I finish this convention I've got coming up. Its very detailed with lots of hat sewing info as well as fleece and sewing machine info. It'd probably help you out alot. I'll let you know when I get done! (:
I definitely know what its like to have a mean sewing machine! It took me a while to learn the basics and even longer to get this good at sewing hats! I sewed through my finger earlier this year too, lol, so it still doesn't seam to like me.

anyways, would it be ok if i used some of the hat designs in a game project i might make? not promising ill use it but its an idea that ill look into if its ok with u. first im planing on making a zelda game but if i cnt ill probly make a random game and if i do that i wanna use ur hat designs D: ill give u credit for the hats.
the game will only be a 2D game thats kinda like a top view. like pokemon on the gameboy color, advance, and DS e-e
but i cant promiss ill make it. D: cause theres much scripting involved e-e its complicated xD

As for the game thing, I'm not so sure. If you get around to working on it then get back to me, send me a note or an email and maybe we can work something out.
and about the hat, ill probably buy one on my own if i can send the money through mail. it will probably be a while though since my only way of making money is babysitting and my parents cant pay the weekly 50 bucks that i work for, but i will still get a little money.
i cant really ask my parents for anything atm though because my dad recently got fired and were doing poorly right now. i think hes at a job interview or something atm and hes gone for the next 3 days e-e
